Conflict at work often leads to grievances, prolongued sickness absence, underperformance and expensive legal fees. Pivotal's team of mediators resolve confict at an early stage.
Mediation is an entirely voluntary and confidential process facilitated by impartial mediators and is the first port of call for workplace conflict. Pivotal HR only use trained mediators with many years experience in resolving conflict in the social care workplace. We generally work with two mediators for each mediation.
There are one hour individual meetings with the parties involved, then a joint meeting which can last three to five hours. The process empowers individuals to resolve their conflict in a safe and confidential environment.
